ICHSC licence transfer in Ontario

An ICHSC licence transfer in Ontario is the regulatory step behind every sale or purchase of a diagnostic imaging business. ICHSC was formerly called IHF, and many people still use both names. The transfer must be filed with and approved by the Ontario Ministry of Health before the new operator can lawfully provide services.

How the transfer works

The buyer and seller file an application with the Ministry. The Ministry reviews it, and the Director gives the final approval. Only then can the sale close.

What can slow a transfer down

Missing documents, unclear ownership details and late changes to the deal are the usual causes. Preparing the application early and keeping it complete avoids most delays.

How we help

We prepare the application, track the Ministry review and keep both sides informed. Read the full details on our page about ICHSC licence transfers, relocations and expansions.
